Privacy Policy

1. Introduction
At Code Atlas (provided by Superlinear), we take your privacy seriously. We understand that your code is your most valuable asset. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclosure, and safeguard your information when you use our AI-native IDE distribution and related services.
2. How We Handle Your Code
We offer two distinct modes of operation regarding your code privacy. You have full control over which mode you use.
Privacy Mode
- Your code is never stored on our servers.
- Your code is never used to train our models.
- Transients inputs (for AI generation) are discarded immediately after processing.
- We enforce Zero Data Retention policies with our LLM providers.
Standard Mode
- We may collect telemetry on how you use AI features to improve the product.
- Code snippets may be temporarily stored to improve context awareness.
- You can opt-out of training data collection in your settings.
3. Information We Collect
- Account Information: When you register, we collect your email, name, and GitHub profile information.
- Usage Data: We collect anonymous metrics about IDE performance, crash reports, and feature usage patterns.
- Local Indexing: Code Atlas creates a local index of your codebase on your machine for RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation). Metadata about this index (but not the code itself) may be synced for multi-device support.
4. Data Security
We implement enterprise-grade security measures including:
- Encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256).
- Strict access controls for our internal team.
- Regular security audits and penetration testing.
- SOC 2 compliance (in progress).
