Today, we are thrilled to announce Code Atlas (formerly Drift.live), a new IDE distribution designed from the ground up for the AI-native era. We are building the first development environment that understands your entire repository's architecture, enabling true multiplayer AI development.

Why a New IDE?

The way we write code has changed fundamentally with AI, but our tools haven't kept up. VS Code is an editor for files. Code Atlas is an editor for systems. We noticed that as AI coding speed increased, architectural coherence decreased. We call this "Architectural Drift."

Core Pillars

  • Code-OSS Foundation: Built on the robust, familiar Code-OSS core, so all your favorite extensions work out of the box.
  • Live-Synchronized Visualization: An always-on architectural diagram that updates in real-time as you type.
  • Differential UML Engine: See exactly how your changes impact the system structure with red/green semantic diffs.
  • Context-Aware Collaboration: Pin comments to nodes in the graph, not just lines in a file. Discuss design where it matters.

Join the Private Beta

We are currently in a private beta with a select group of engineering teams. If you are ready to stop "vibe coding" in isolation and start orchestrating intelligence with your team, we'd love to hear from you.
